The Fool’s Poems: Part 1

Honouring Our Brokenness and Happiness

In a state of brokenness, how do we begin to see anything positive? I wrote ‘The Fool’s Poems I’ to show the positive in our brokenness, to see the relationship between our brokenness and happiness.

The Fool and their poems are like seeing a broken pot repaired with gold dust in the glue, so all the breaks are visible. The gold cracks show that when repaired with all its scars visible, the imperfect piece of pottery may be more beautiful than the perfect original.

Accepting our imperfections can change our attitude to us and others, opening us up to humility, forgiveness and inner happiness.
